Back in early 2025 we were fortunate enough to manufacture items for a F1 simulator centre near Silverstone.
Project Management
This project was handled by our Sales Manager, Jon Nock. The King of Trades have been a loyal customer of Jon’s for the past 5 years. The project was tightly managed in-house to ensure a smooth completion.
The Brief
- To manufacture a large reception desk
The Challenge
Once we were sent the spec of the reception desk, one of our designated CAD designers drew up the design onto the IMOS system. This project was quite straight forward but what was initially meant to be built in two sections ended up being three. By building it in smaller chunks allows for ease upon delivery and installation. All details such as this are discussed with customers, designers and the project management team prior to materials being cut.
It was a pleasure to work with Gavin at The King of Trades again, this is one of many projects we have collaborated on with Gavin – not only was it aesthetically pleasing but it was a great, small insight into the world of Formula One through simulation.
We feel lucky to have manufactured for a site close to the well-known Silverstone track itself.

Delivery
Once the desk was quality checked, wrapped and put on the van by members of our team it was ready for transportation.
