Overview
A store located in the heart of North London has been transformed into a vibrant, modern convenience establishment. A destination where shoppers can indulge in the finest culinary delights and essential provisions.
We collaborated with our existing customer, Rapeed Design Shopfitters to manufacture various components such as: a curved till point, oak display bespoke units, bread baskets, feature wall panelling and refrigeration framework.
The Brief
- Manufacture various components for a brand-new convenience store
The Challenge
With no initial complications this project was off to a speedy start but a few bumps in the road with materials meant that the process took slightly longer than anticipated. This was quickly resolved as our Procurement Manager sourced alternative materials which were of a higher spec, proving to be more durable in the long run.
Everything manufactured at Retail Furniture is quality controlled and checked throughout, this is to eliminate any problems that might occur. This project was over the course of a few weeks with our team working on it every day. All jobs start with detailed briefing from our sales Manager to our design team, through to the machine shop ending in the assembly area.
Overall features and materials used
- Solid Oak MDF to create the shelves
- The till point was made up of Plain MR MDF and pinned to the curved framework before being sprayed to the chosen colour
- Quartz Countertop, supplied to us by a local Shropshire company
Project Management
From briefing to completion, the overall project took 5 to 6 weeks which our Sales Manager Jon Nock orchestrated alongside our Production Manager based in our factory.
Delivery
Once all quality control checks were completed, the items were wrapped and collected by Rapeed themselves to take to St Johns Wood.
